Sticking to the script Chop and Dreego keep up the tradition of sample chops + lyrics, pushing the Art forward without sounding dated. Producer Jimmy Stubbs provides the musical backdrop with a classic Mobb Deep/ALC feel, keeping it dusty but fresh at the same damn time. 1.Name background Influences. Dreego & BigDaddyChop both come from Antioch California. Our influences include Bay Area music , the environment we were raised in , underground hip hop , & all of our talented friends that also make amazing music.
2. Info on the song: is it a single or part of a bigger project? Is there a particular reason you chose to release it now? This is our second music video off of our latest album “The Golden Ticket”. We decided to shoot this video because Tyler hit us up with a vision he had for the song. We’re really happy with how it turned out and it was a lot of fun to put together.
3. What’s next? Shows, more music/projects, other productions etc etc We have are third album 90% done already and we’re also currently working on a solo Dreego album fully produced by BigDaddyChop.
