New work from 916 repper C-Plus featuring Nate Curry on the carooning hook and verse. C-Plus is a staple in the Sacramento California Hip Hop scene putting it down with producers Ski Beatz (Jay-Z) to Sacramento's own Lee Bannon (Joey Badda$$). "Waves pt 2" follows the Guys to the barbershop to the beauty supply store to get the necessary goods to set off the hairstyle made popular in the early 21st century. African-American men sought to style their hair with texture-altering products, "pomade hair moisturizer". Peep C-Plus on DNA, follow them at @Plusmoney @natecurry_

Producer RCA delivers the perfect soundtrack for the long drive through California's PCH or anywhere else with the scenic advantage. RCA made early waves with the SF label SWTBRDS creative collective as Art Director, now in the drivers seat on the production side he's able to flex more of his creative muscle. With collab EP on the way with another SWTBRDS alumni D-How the Money Maka, RCA warms up the listeners with his first solo offering "Relationships". Speaking to RCA he breaks down "Relationships" as a project that follows the ups and downs in the cohabitation space. For Hip Hop heads you'll get all the sample chops you need with the live musical element always present. Words from RCA: Influenced by the music of Kaytranada, Knxwledge, Tame Impala, and the state of California, RCA’s music taps into a nostalgic core (need a better word there) and pulls out a colorful syrup to thread hip hop instrumentals soaked in 80’s R&B, Vaporwave, 90’s hip hop, and The West Coast. Imagine an aesthetic mix of TLC, Alchemist, and Alexander O’Neal. Tune in and follow him at https://www.instagram.com/rca.fm/

4 rAx of famed Oakland production team The Mekanix preps for the release of his upcoming album "FEAR" (dropping 9/11) with his latest offering/visual for "Scars". "My love for you is now bitter sweet, guess you could say I bumped my head on the concrete", "Scars" is an ode to the city 4 rAx calls home as he recognizes how his city has provided all he's needed (good or bad) from his youth to an adult. 4 rAx gives insight on how he feels the current state of materialism has clouded the vision of his peers, friend and family "....when the dollar is the new God, being real is the new fraud". Stay tuned for his debut release "FEAR" and everything else from The Mekanix.
