Producer Baghead was brought to DNA's attention last year by fellow SF native's The Jealous Guys with the video/song "Baghead - 4 Tires Flat (ft.) The Jealous Guys, Professa Gabel, Ozer check it HERE. Since then we've kept up with his maneuvers including his recent DJ set opening for the Psychedelic Soul Brother #1 Madlib at San Francisco's historic music venue 1015 Folsom. Baghead has that Old Soul sample foundation fused together with a traditional Bay Slap frequency. The Fillmore District is a neighborhood in San Francisco, California which has a long history dating back to the 1800s. In the last 50 years and up until today, the redevelopment of The Fillmore District has displaced families and local businesses away from their own neighborhood. DaVinci and his family are the few remaining natives still residing in The Fillmore. This is a SWTBRDS and www.werehaus.tv collaboration. New work from 916 repper C-Plus featuring Nate Curry on the carooning hook and verse. C-Plus is a staple in the Sacramento California Hip Hop scene putting it down with producers Ski Beatz (Jay-Z) to Sacramento's own Lee Bannon (Joey Badda$$). "Waves pt 2" follows the Guys to the barbershop to the beauty supply store to get the necessary goods to set off the hairstyle made popular in the early 21st century. African-American men sought to style their hair with texture-altering products, "pomade hair moisturizer".
