Canadian producer DJ Critical Hype blends Wu-Tang Clan’s dark, alluring beats and 2 Chainz’s witty boasts and punchlines on a new mash-up mixtape fittingly dubbed Wu-Chainz: 36 Trap Houses. Smif-N-Wessun have joined the growing list of Hip Hop artists to perform on NPR’s popular Tiny Desk Concert series. The duo of Tek and Steele took it back to 1995’s Dah Shinin, performing “Bucktown” and “Stand Strong” from their classic debut. Smif-N-Wessun also premiered a new song, “One Time,” from their upcoming album with 9th Wonder. Smif-N-Wessun’s Tiny Desk Concert appearance comes amid an exciting time for the duo.
