Smif-N-Wessun have joined the growing list of Hip Hop artists to perform on NPR’s popular Tiny Desk Concert series. The duo of Tek and Steele took it back to 1995’s Dah Shinin, performing “Bucktown” and “Stand Strong” from their classic debut. Smif-N-Wessun also premiered a new song, “One Time,” from their upcoming album with 9th Wonder. Smif-N-Wessun’s Tiny Desk Concert appearance comes amid an exciting time for the duo. The All, Tek and Steele’s collaborative effort with 9th Wonder, was completed in July. The Boot Camp Clik members just dropped its lead single, “Let It Go,” last week. The All will be the duo’s first release since 2013’s Born And Raised EP and first full-length project since 2011’s Monumental LP with Pete Rock. Listen to Smif-N-Wessun’s “Let It Go” below and watch their Tiny Desk Concert above.
