She made her way up the Hip Hop media ranks as (founding) Senior editor of Complex Magazine & Complex Media, Associate Editor of The Source Magazine, and STRESS: NY's Illest Mag's first & only West Coast Editor. Walasia takes us through her journey as a child of renowned bassist Buell Neidlinger and Jazz drummer Deborah Murray Fuss, to lending her voice to the song "Fancy Clown" and A&Ring one of Hip Hop's staple classics Madvillian (MF Doom, Madlib). We take a trip to the Bay Area where Walasia has made her mark from working with a who's who of artists.
