1. Name: HeiR
Background: I come from isle4 (Alameda) in the Bay Area. By way of Maryland. I migrated in 1999 when I was 10. I wrote my first rhyme “limousine limousine, I love you cause you’re really clean.” In 2001. When I finally got my own computer in 2003 I started joining HipHop forums where I learned how to write foreal. The very next year I attended a charter school on isle4 that had a recording studio. The rest is history…
Influences: Every HipHop artist has played a part in my growth as an emcee. From every region here in the states to overseas. To me, they are all legends, regardless of time period. I’ve also learned a lot from historians like Credo Mutwa and David Icke. Physics/Math innovators like Hans Jenny and Masaki Kashiwara. And my biggest influence right now an actress/philosopher. named Logan Browning
2. Info on the song/album: is it a single or part of a bigger project? Is there a particular reason you chose to release it now?
This is a full length album titled “Aphrobrosian” I chose to release it in commemoration of 9/11 when the trade towers fell. And all the conspiracy that til this day surrounds that event. In my belief, it was a universal symbolism of DNA deconstruction. A man has 9 holes on his body and a woman has 11. Our orifices are how DNA enters and exits. The fact it was the trade towers I believe represents the trade of genetic information between woman and man and our evolution. To deconstruct “man” and usher in the wave of automatons, or robotic life forms. 9/11 can also be seen as 911. The phone number for emergency calls for ambulance and cops. Every cop car has red n blue lights. Which red and blue are the hemoglobin and hemocyanin ribbons that make up our DNA. There were two towers which symbolize man and woman, and the two strands of our DNA structure. The polynucleotides. I wanted to express my ideas of the matrix we live in with this project. 3. What’s next? Shows, more music/projects, other productions etc etc
I hope to join DNA’s brick and mortar for shows. This album is ⅓ of the album trilogy I will be releasing in the next couple years. Which will be followed by my first ever documentary.
