DNA Family member Isaiah "wit da Hair" Mostafa stays on the DNA dot com website, he returns this time with producer Baghead with "Roadblocks", the first single from their upcoming EP (untitled). Baghead, being one of our favorite producers for the last 4-5 years (here's why) was a mainstay on the (now on hiatus) Drums & Ammo "Friendly Fire" radio show. Isaiah Mostafa and Baghead linked the week before Isaiah drove across the country to move to NY. On the road, Isaiah eventually hit a major roadblock in Texas.. getting thrown in jail for less than 2 grams of cannabis. He made it out and reached NY and a month later, FNG was headed to NY for multiple shows they had lined up. Along with FNG came an additional 20 Bay Area creatives. Rocky G, film director, rapper and saxophonist was among those creatives. Isaiah and Baghead finished the song they started and planned to shoot the video while they were together in NY with Rocky.
Influences:
Our influences are extremely vast, but with this release specifically you can really feel our East Coast Hip-Hop veins poppin out. Big love to Madlib, Atmosphere, Freddie Gibbs, Guru and Big Pun.

This single will be attached to an EP from Bag and Zay. We are planning to release 3 singles in 3 months before we release this EP. EP coming october!
What’s next?:
Bag and Zay are on the same bill September 14th at the Academy of Sciences. Bag will be headlining with A-1 right after Zay and ASTU rock a joint set.
Bag will also, that same day, be at grasslands (a stage within the Outside Lands festival), and at the SFMOMA with FNG as they are curating a 3 hours multimedia experience for the MOMA’s “Summer Smash”
