HMZA X RIDL "Gotta Go' (produced by RIDL and Durazzo Beats)

Durazzo Beats HMZA RIDL

We're proud to introduce our 2nd Drums & Ammo Recordings release with long time friend/collaborator HMZA. HMZA X RIDL "Gotta Go" (produced by RIDL and Durazzo Beats) harkens back to the Summer of 95' when Virginia Vocalist/Multi-Instrumentalist Michael Eugene Archer dropped the sultry/smoke filled "Brown Sugar" single. D' Angelo's "Brown Sugar" brought down the temperature in a World under the constant heat lamp of the newest Hip Hop at the time. Acts like Tupac, Mobb Deep, Luniz, Wu-Tang and many more had the energy level on high, "Brown Sugar" was a reprieve from the Boom Bap and gave the Culture a much needed breather. "Gotta Go" pulls from Hip Hop but keeps the Soul on the top end similar to artist's Bilal, Dwele and the other Usual Soul Suspects. Produced by RIDL (a long time collaborator of HMZA) and Durazzo Beats, the track isn't afraid of using silence as a key component allowing space to process the vocal harmonies/textures. Stay tuned for the official video for "Gotta Go" and more from HMZA and Drums & Ammo Recordings.

Drums and AmmoとDJ Ammbushに感謝します。
